What is your favorite crystal at the moment?
  • Black Obsidian. However, Green Aventurine, Pyrite are close behind.
What is one piece of advice you would give to someone just starting on their witchy, spiritual or holistic path?
  • Spirituality and/or mindfulness is a deeply personal journey, and it's important to recognize that there's no one-size-fits-all approach. As a guide for beginners, I often use the analogy of "following your white rabbit," drawing inspiration from Alice in Wonderland. Many newcomers to the spiritual path feel overwhelmed by the vast amount of information available and try to absorb everything at once, leading to burnout.
Instead, I encourage individuals to take their time and focus on what resonates with them. Whether it's crystals, astrology, or any other aspect of spirituality, follow what genuinely excites and uplifts you. Dive deep into one area at a time, exploring and learning as you go.
It's essential to approach spiritual, holistic, or mindfulness literature with an open mind while also trusting your own intuition and moral compass. While you may encounter conflicting advice, remember that there's no right or wrong way to practice. Trust in your instincts and seek guidance from reputable sources or fellow practitioners if needed.
Ultimately, your spiritual or mindful practice should feel natural and authentic to you. Allow yourself the freedom to explore, experiment, and evolve on your journey, embracing what brings you joy and fulfillment along the way.

Which element (earth, air, fire, water) do you feel most connected to and how do you incorporate it into your practice?
  • I feel most connected to water and make sure to craft a special jar of moon water each full moon that sits on my altar as it gets utilized throughout the month.  Tell us a bit about your business and the products or services you offer.
  • A Crow's Comforts, established in 2022, is inspired by the curiosity and intelligence of crows. In the same way crows collect shiny trinkets and give them to their loved ones, we create art that is close to our hearts and offer it to our communities. We offer an eclectic mix of oddities, bone jewelry, metaphysical tools, and intuitive readings. Em Lyn, owner, grows, sources, and processes their materials so every piece is sustainable and ethical.
What is your favorite crystal at the moment?
  • Labradorite always. Blue Tiger's Eye is my runner up.
Do you have a favorite tarot card or oracle card? What does it mean to you?
  • My favorite tarot card is Strength. I love the imagery in Rider-Waite that shows the lion and the woman possess their own types of strength and have come to respect each other as equals. It's a reminder to find and feel different types of strength and passion, tempering and melding them together within ourselves and others.
Which element (earth, air, fire, water) do you feel most connected to and how do you incorporate it into your practice?
  • I feel most connected to the element of Earth. I have five Virgo placements in my birth chart, haha. By working with bones, insects, and botanicals in my art and spiritual practice, I am a witness to the Earth and her cycles of life and death. My favorite place to connect with Earth and Spirit is in my native pollinator garden.
What book or resource has been the most influential in your witchy, spiritual or holistic journey?
  • Dark Godess Craft by Stephanie Woodfield. Hoodoo Justice Magic by Miss Aida. Entangled Life by Merlin Sheldrake.
What is one piece of advice you would give to someone just starting on their witchy, spiritual or holistic path?
  • Take what sticks and leave the rest. There is so much information out there on spiritual practices, but only you can know what path feels right for you. When something aligns with your spirit, hold onto it. When something feels out of alignment, let it go.
